These beaches are so gorgeous they will soon be on your bucket list! Check them out below and don’t miss the most exotic, hidden beaches for summer 2025! All of these beaches are located in the Mediterranean and within a few hour’s trip from Izmir, Turkey.
Kocakarı Beach
Found just north of iconic Çeşme is Kocakarı Beach. The view from the road is stunning as we overlooked the beach near sunset. It is off the beaten path, but well worth the journey. A flat landscape and nice white sand expand over the whole beach. While you’re here enjoy nice rays and the still water.
Travel: This beach is easily reachable by car and a little bit of walking.

Çanak Koyu
Right by the port town, Foça is Çanak Koyu Beach. To get to the beach you pass by the beautiful harbor, over a few hills, and then behold the tucked-away beach between two hills.
Travel: You can reach this beach from Izmir by taking the Izban and then a bus to Foça, we followed Google Maps directions to get there. Also, it is a short drive from Izmir if you have a car.

Pırlanta Plajı
We experienced a gorgeous drive to Pırlanta Plajı. With easy-to-reach parking and few people around it was the perfect getaway spot. Close to the shore, there is a group of trees which we sat under. It provided great shade for a sunny day to lay under and enjoy our time and snacks. With the gorgeous, warm blue water and the soft sand, this is a must-see getaway.
Travel: Easily reachable by car, close parking. This beach also has paid umbrellas and chairs.

Ekmeksız Nature Park
Ekmeksız Nature Park is a one-of-a-kind experience. You park and start walking down a steep hill into a little forest. After coming through the forest, you get glimpses of the sea which then opens to a beautiful beach oasis. Set your stuff down and once you get into the water you find out something amazing! The ocean has a slow decline, making it the perfect place for in-water games. Our group loved this place to play games and swim around. There were also cliffs nearby to jump off into deeper waters.
Travel: This beach is easily reachable by car. One caveat, during the summer months it can get busy and lots of cars will park along the street and it can get very hard to get out.

Altınkum Plajı
Last but not least, Altınkum Plajı. This beach was a little difficult to find at first, but when we saw the view it was so worth it! Long stretches of clear sand with great views of the still-blue water. It was very peaceful with little going on around there! We enjoyed finding a little spot to call home and climbing the nearby rocks.
Travel: Easily reachable by car with free parking. Close walk to the beach.
